Stickers, slips and the waitlist, without the folding table.
Baybook is boat sticker, slip and waitlist tracking for lake associations. Members upload registration and insurance, pay, and get their decal. You see who’s current and who’s holding up the dock.
Free for 90 days; founding communities get the first season free. Sits beside your HOA software.
PhotoA community dock at 7 a.m., shot low from the end of the walkway. Numbered slips running away from the camera, a few boats under covers, still water, first light from the left. No people.
Boat stickersA decal goes on when the paperwork is in.
Each member gets one link. They upload the state registration and the insurance certificate from a phone, pay the sticker fee, and choose the mail or a pickup at the office. Baybook reads the certificate against your liability minimum and checks that the association is named. When everything is in, the decal is issued to that boat.
Every decal carries the season and a number tied to one boat, so a decal number is all you need to find the owner, the slip and the insurance.
No stickers at your lake? The number works without the sticker. Members see their permit on their link, and patrol checks a boat by the registration number on its bow. See it both ways in the demo
Slips and dock spaceEvery slip, who has it, and whether they’re current.
Set up each dock once. Slip fees and late fees ride on the same payment as the sticker, so a member settles the season in one go. Open slips show as open, and the waitlist knows about them.
The slip waitlistA waitlist members can check without calling the office.
Members see their own place in line and the date they joined. When a slip opens, it’s offered to the next name with a date to answer by. If they pass, it goes to the one after, and every move is logged.

When it’s your turn, you’ll get an email with the slip and a date to answer by.
Sticker dayWho’s holding up the dock, every Monday.
Reminders go to members at 60, 30 and 7 days, so the office isn’t the one making calls. On Monday mornings the dockmaster and the treasurer get one email: who’s current, who’s close, and who still owes paperwork or a payment.
The folding table comes out once, for the members who’d rather pick up their decal in person.

Questions from lake associations
How does Baybook handle boat stickers?
Each member gets one link. They upload the state registration and the insurance certificate, pay the sticker fee and choose the mail or a pickup at the office. When the paperwork meets your rules, the decal is issued with a number tied to that boat.
What if our lake doesn’t use stickers?
Baybook works the same way. Each boat still gets a number for the season, members see it as a permit on their link, and patrol checks a boat by typing in the registration number on its bow. The check shows only whether the boat is current, so names and addresses stay with the office.
Does Baybook check boat insurance?
It reads the certificate and checks the liability limit, the end date and whether the association is named as additional insured against the rules you set. It doesn’t contact carriers to confirm coverage.
Can members see their place on the slip waitlist?
Yes. Members see their own place in line and the date they joined. When a slip opens, it’s offered to the next name with a date to answer by, and every move is logged.
Can we charge slip fees and late fees?
Yes. Set the sticker fee, slip fee and late fee once, and members pay them together in one payment.
Does it work with our HOA software?
It sits beside it. Baybook exports to your HOA software and QuickBooks, so dues and the owner directory stay where they are.
What does Baybook cost for a lake association?
$49 a month for up to 100 boats, $99 for up to 300 and $199 for up to 1,000, billed yearly after 90 days free. Founding communities get the first season free, then 30% off for three years.
